Our History
In Archie's Wok we fused the vibrant flavors of Southeast Asia with the unique essence of Puerto Vallarta. Since the 1980s, our cuisine has been a meeting point where the traditions of Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines come to life in every dish.
Our founder, Archie, was a former private chef to the director John Huston during the filming of The night of the iguana at Puerto Vallarta, a chapter that is part of our history.
More than a restaurant, we are an experience full of tradition, passion and authentic Asian flavor.

If you’ve walked past Archie's Wok near the Los Muertos Pier, you’ve probably thought what I thought: beautiful, always packed… and probably expensive 😅✨ Last night I let my friend George choose dinner, and without hesitation he said, “Archie’s Wok.” I almost admitted I’d been intimidated by it for months. I’m glad I didn’t 🙌 Let me start with the ending: it’s completely affordable 💰✅ Reasonably priced. Generous portions 🍽️ And with unique ambiance. Sit outside and even if it looks busy, somehow it melts away. For an hour, you’re not in Zona Romántica… you’re transported to China 🏮🥢 We ordered chicken satay and cucumber salad 🥒 to start 🥗, then chicken curry and garlic shrimp for the main course 🍤🍛 Rice is complimentary and unlimited 🍚 (yes, unlimited). Everything was delicious, but that spicy peanut dressing on the satay was absolute winner 🔥🥜Publicado en Dudy Bar-Tal21 Febrero 2026Trustindex verifica que la fuente original de la reseña sea Google.
